System for water level measurement is comprised of two separate probes connected to one computational unit – VEMOGS.
The measuring is conducted in hydrostatic probes which are connected in a redundant measuring combination for the importance of measuring.
Computational unit compares the measuring of both probes and in case of fallacy bigger than 1 cm signalizes a defect in the measuring system. This function is extremely important, since the measurement is used in the cycle of the turbine plant regulation.
Measuring system is protected with a galvanic isolation unit of the probe from the computational unit and power supply.
Analog output signal are linked on the SCADA system and onto the MER turbine regulator.
Apart from the data of the water level, the probe measures and transfers the data of the temperature as well.
